I was here for the Loy Krathong festival with a friends It was very cozy and atmospheric🙏🏽 There's a small pier and a delicious cafe across the street. You can come here during the day to take beautiful photos, as the water is very clear and the view is quite picturesque

*UPDATE* Bantai Pier improving! 😃👍🏼 Nice place to sit. Has exercise machines while you wait. Good service from staff that is very friendly and helpful. Old review - needs more signage and a better road. Not easy to see where "ticket office" is unless you are a local. The speedboat is nice and spacious and staff are efficient and friendly. Arrows showing the way to where you embark on the boat will be useful for tourists.
