Our room was spacious, very clean with a very well-priced and well-stocked minibar. The toilet plumbing and drainage is a bit weak but seems to be a common issue on the island. It was super easy to communicate with reception / concierge through whatsapp and all our questions, except one, were answered promptly and followed through. A great stat when it’s so busy. There’s no grab on the island but we found the taxi service (booked at reception or directly with the taxi company) to be reliable. The beach is quite shallow but slightly rocky. We recommend water shoes. Resort is well located with two super markets nearby (with ATMs). We ate at the hotel’s restaurant quite a few times — delicious and great service! Overall a really nice few days spent here.
Traveled in May 2026 Stayed in the Sea Breeze Deluxe bungalow. This is a lovely little hotel! My partner and 1 had originally booked into another hotel close by but didn't like it when we arrived and hastily booked the Milky Bay. l'm so glad we did such a lovely place nestled away on the beach. We went for the Sea Breeze room which is a lovely little bungalow just off the beach overlooking the pool area. The only criticisms I had with it was the water from the shower would track under the shower screen into the rest of the bathroom and the other was the main front door had a big gap going around it that let in light and I was also worried about bugs crawling under it 🫣 Apart from that couldn't fault the resort, such lovely staff, they couldn't do enough for you! The restaurant was lovely and there are other place's to eat or drink close by. There isn't much of a beach outside the hotel. walk 5 minutes around the corner and there is. We found laying around by the pool or overlooking the little beach area fine. There is a 7-11, Lotus, Big C and massage shops with in walking distance. I would recommend either renting a motorbike or a car as there is only one form of taxis on the island so can work expensive using every day. Definitely recommend going over to Koh Tao, what a beautiful island.. We will be back
