When I saw the menu, I thought to myself- I didn't clock the vegetarian/vegan bit, doofus that I am. However, the menu has many options, and I hadn't eaten Indian food in at least 6 months. We, or I, definitely ordered far too much. Bagged up the excess to eat at home later. The Aloo Gobi was tasty as, regular samosas excellent, basmati rice and plain naan bread also spot on. My wife love the falafel wrap and said that the accompanying salad was as good as her mom's (basically the highest praise you can receive). The vibe was relaxed and got busier as time went by. The reviews already confirm it's a decent place, I can also confirm that today. Parking is available next to the restaurant, also ample spaces for bikes. The iced chocolate from indigo next door was delicious, the fresh lemon juice- superbly refreshing. I am not vegan, nor a vegetarian- but can definitely say I thoroughly enjoyed eating here. We've only been on the island a few days, this was recommended and did not disappoint 🙏🏻🙌🏼🙏🏼 tip: the samosas are large so one each is ample, the onion pakora you only ideally need one serving between 2.
i’m not vegetarian, but their extensive menu selection is a must try. i come here often, and always order family style with my friends to try new dishes. every single one is seasoned/spice so beautifully, the naan is crispy and buttery. i also LOVE their shakshuka, it’s the best on the island, imo! must try!!
