We went to this restaurant with friends who had already made a reservation for four people. Before going, they told us this was the best Thai restaurant in Koh Phangan, so expectations were high, and honestly, it delivered. We ordered two Massaman curries, a salad, and glass noodles with prawns. Everything was delicious, but the Massaman curry really stood out. Without exaggeration, it’s the best Massaman curry I’ve had so far. Service was a solid 10 out of 10. They took our order quickly, and the food arrived in about 15 minutes, all served together in a very organized and efficient way. When it came time to pay, we were more than satisfied. Portions are generous and prices are very fair. For example, the Massaman curry with rice was only 170 THB, which is incredible for the quality you get. The place is quite iconic in the area and gets completely packed every night, so making a reservation is highly recommended if you want to secure a table. Parking can be a bit chaotic, as motorbikes tend to fill up the small available space, but that’s completely understandable given how popular the restaurant is. Absolutely worth it. One of the best Thai food experiences on the island.
The food at this Thai restaurant was delicious with generous portions. I really appreciated that each dish offers customizable spice levels, which is rare to find since most places are either all-in on heat or not at all. Unfortunately, the service fell short of expectations. My wife received chopsticks while I didn't, and when I requested a pair, the server oddly waited until another dish came out before bringing them, which was frustrating. When we were ready to pay, we had to wave our hands for about a minute to get anyone's attention. The restaurant wasn't busy, and we could see the servers weren't occupied but simply chatting among themselves while ignoring our request for the bill. Great food, but the inattentive service definitely detracted from the experience.
