We had dinner at Nena Locanda and honestly loved it. I had beef sticks and my wife pasta. It was absolutely incredible. Rarely have we eaten such fresh and flavorful noodles. For us, one of the best Italian restaurants, if not the best, on all of Koh Phangan. A must visit for anyone who loves great pasta, seafood, and authentic Italian cuisine.
I usually don’t write reviews unless a restaurant asks me to, but this time I really think more people should know how good my experience was! The food was formidable. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients and the passion that goes into the dishes. I did have one small note regarding the orecchiette: it wasn’t cooked entirely evenly (some pieces were just a touch under al dente), but honestly, that detail paled in comparison to the rest of the meal. The ambiance was top-notch as well. Combined with their excellent wine list, I felt like I was in paradise. I rarely walk up to the chef to give a personal compliment, but I absolutely did this time because he and the team genuinely deserve it. I will definitely be back and in the meantime recommend the place to all my friends!
