A few of the negative comments nearly made us not come but so glad we did!! Yes you have to pay but it’s a tiny price and yes there’s a concrete dam that stops the water coming out to create a pool but it doesn’t take away from the beauty. The water feels so fresh, the scenery is amazing and it’s relatively quiet. A really easy walk too. Visit!

I am currently staying right next to the river, which belongs to this area, so I have free access to the waterfall and the mountain hike. Normally there is an entrance fee of 40 Baht, which is a bit unusual for me, as I have never paid an entrance fee for a hike before. Still, the place is absolutely beautiful. The river is wonderful and very peaceful. The higher you go, the more calm and inner peace you feel. The hike up the mountain is really beautiful and a lot of fun. At the top, I didn’t find any trash at all — people seem to respect nature much more there. What I found very sad is the amount of trash around the waterfalls, especially plastic bottles. This place is special and deserves more care. It feels like different types of visitors come to the waterfalls compared to the mountain hike — not everyone seems to be a true nature lover. Overall, it’s a great place for nature lovers, hiking, and relaxing. I personally love staying here.
